Gates · Railings · Security doors · Pergolas
Steel that lasts by the sea.
Railings in Coral Bay rust twice as fast as railings in Tsada. Panos makes gates, fences, railings and security doors to measure, hot-dip galvanised where it matters and painted with a proper metal system, and he restores rusted railings for a third of the price of new ones.
- Made to measure, with a drawing on the quote
- Galvanised and painted for coastal air
- Repair and repaint before replace

- The balcony railings are rusting through and the complex manager keeps writing to you.
- You want a driveway gate that matches the house, not a catalogue.
- A security door for the apartment you rent out.
- The pergola frame is rusting at the base where it meets the tiles.
- The old gate drags on the ground and the lock is gone.

Done properly
How a proper job is done by the sea
What makes steel last in Paphos air.
Measure, draw, quote
Panos measures on site and the quote carries a drawing with dimensions, bar spacing and the finish, so you know exactly what you are getting.
Galvanise where it matters
Within a few hundred metres of the sea, hot-dip galvanising before painting is the difference between repainting in ten years and replacing in five. Inland, a zinc primer and two coats of enamel do the job. The quote says which.
Fixings for Cyprus walls
Anchors sized for concrete and hollow block, not plasterboard screws. Base plates sealed so water does not sit at the foot of the post.
Paint as a system
Rust removed to bare metal, primer, two coats of enamel in the colour you choose, with the touch-up tin left with you.
Restore first
Most rusted railings are sound underneath. Grinding, priming and repainting costs a fraction of new and photographs well in the before/after.

FAQ
Questions people ask about metal works.
How much does a metal gate cost in Paphos?
A pedestrian gate made and fitted: €850–€1,400. A painted swing driveway gate from €1,600; galvanised and automated gates more. The quote comes with a drawing and the options as separate lines.
Galvanised or painted?
Near the sea, galvanised and then painted. Inland, a zinc primer and two coats of enamel. Panos tells you which your house needs and quotes both if you want to compare.
Can my old railings be saved?
Usually yes. If the bars are sound under the rust, grinding, priming and repainting costs about a third of new railings. If they are rusted through at the base, Panos says so and quotes new.
How long does a gate take?
Measuring and drawing within a week, fabrication one to two weeks, fitting in a day. The written quote gives the dates.
Do you do gate automation?
The motor is installed by a licensed electrician Panos works with, as a separate line on the quote. Panos makes the gate ready for it.
Do you work for complexes?
Yes: communal railings, gates and stairwells, quoted per complex for the committee or the manager, with photos of every section done.
