A bathroom that is waterproof before it is beautiful.

The part of a bathroom that fails is the part you never see: the waterproofing under the tiles. Panos does the strip-out, the plumbing, the tanking, the tiling and the painting himself, photographs the waterproofing before the tiles cover it, and sends you a photo every working day.

  • One person responsible, start to finish
  • Waterproofing photographed before the tiles
  • 3-year guarantee on the work
BookingA bathroom is booked 3–6 weeks ahead. Renovations between winter tenants and before the summer season fill first.

Sounds familiar?

If one of these is you, send a photo. You get an honest answer within two hours in working hours.

  • The bathroom is the one room buyers and guests notice first, and yours is from 2004.
  • A damp patch on the wall behind the shower, in the next room.
  • You want a walk-in shower instead of the bath, done while you are away.
  • Three quotes, none of them says what is included.
  • Cracked or missing tiles that no one can match.

Done properly

How a proper job is done

The order of work, which is also the order on the quote.

  1. Strip-out and first-fix plumbing

Everything out, floor and walls checked for old leaks, pipes rerouted for the new layout. Waste removed the same day.

  2. Waterproofing before tiles

Floor and wet walls are tanked with a liquid membrane, corners and pipe penetrations taped. This is photographed before a single tile goes on: it is the one thing you cannot check later.

  3. Falls, tiles and grout

Shower floors laid to fall so water reaches the drain. Tiles set level, grout lines straight, epoxy or mould-resistant grout in the wet area.

  4. Second fix and finish

Sanitaryware, mixers and screen fitted, silicone in clean straight lines, walls painted with bathroom emulsion. Electrics by a licensed electrician, scheduled by Panos.

  5. Drying time is part of the plan

Membranes and adhesives need days, not hours. The written schedule includes them, so the bathroom is not used before it is ready.

FAQ

Questions people ask about bathrooms.

How much does a bathroom renovation cost in Paphos?

A typical 4–6 m² bathroom with Panos: €4,500–€7,500 for labour and waterproofing, plus tiles and sanitaryware at the price you choose (from about €1,800 for a good standard). The written quote gives the exact figure after a visit.

How long does it take?

2–3 weeks for a full renovation, including the drying time for waterproofing and adhesives. The schedule is in writing, day by day.

Can it be done while I am abroad?

Yes. Most of Panos's renovations are. You choose tiles and sanitaryware from photos or at the supplier on a visit, approve the written quote, and get a photo every working day.

Who does the electrics?

An EMS-licensed electrician Panos works with, scheduled and coordinated by him, invoiced as part of the job.

Do I need a building permit?

Not for a like-for-like bathroom renovation. Moving walls or changing the drainage layout can need one; Panos tells you before quoting.

Do you help choose the tiles?

Yes. Panos knows the Paphos suppliers and what works in a wet room: slip resistance on the floor, large format on walls, grout that does not go black.
